The RKL Education Foundation, Inc. will award scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $3,000 to outstanding minority college-bound high school seniors. Scholarships are awarded based on several factors, including academic achievement and performance in panel interviews. The scholarship funds will be disbursed to recipients upon proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university for the 2025-2026 academic year. Submit one application to be considered for all applicable awards listed below.
The following scholarships will be awarded to top candidates based on overall merit, with additional HBCU and/or STEM criteria where applicable:
Brother Earnest Gibson Memorial Scholarship ($2,000/male)
Brother Eddie Nesby Memorial Scholarship ($2,000/male)
Gloria & Clarence Lockett HBCU/STEM Scholarship ($3,000/co-ed)
Ruby & Essie Lee Memorial Scholarship ($2,000/co-ed)
Brother Oliver Hunter HBCU Scholarship ($3,000/male)
Brother Jeffrey Lamar Memorial Scholarship ($2,000/male)
Pamela & Grace Sarjeant HBCU Scholarship ($2,000/female)

Top finalists will be selected for interviews lasting approximately 20 minutes, which will be conducted before the end of April 2025. The RKLEF scholarship committee will inform candidates of their interview time and date. Scholarship recipients will be notified within ten days of the final scheduled interview.
